Navigating Emotions Through the Clouds of Life

I have heard people say that Varanasi has a unique cosmic energy. Flying above the beautiful city, I could not stop myself from adoring the beauty of the sky. The bright light coming out from the sun and the beautiful clouds took my thoughts to life.

The black clouds are like hard emotions. It looks as if the cloud is thick from outside, and we think we can't pass through that. We cannot touch or feel the cloud, but we can easily pass through the clouds even if they're black, grey, or white in color. We see the moving thin clouds, moving thick clouds, static thin clouds, static thick clouds, clouds that look like icebergs, which appear as if they're difficult to break. But when we go near the clouds, it's only water droplets or ice crystals. The sun rays pass through the clouds to make them yellow, red, and white. However, clouds do not always appear white. Haze and dust in the atmosphere can cause them to appear yellow, orange, or red. As clouds thicken, sunlight passing through them will diminish or be blocked, giving the cloud a grey color. Our positive thoughts should be like the sunshine to ensure the color of emotions we wish to have. We go through different emotions in one single day like the clouds. We just need to ensure that the dark clouds, which are just a small phase of the day, should not block the sunshine in our life. It's us who make our day. So let's plan the day with bright colors. These clouds are picturesquely beautiful even though they're black, white, or red in color. Let's paint colors into our life every single day to make it beautiful. While an airplane passes through the thick clouds, turbulence happens. But like the pilot asks us to wear the seatbelt during that time, we should also wear self-control during turbulences in our life. It will also pass.


We are just worried and scared about the black clouds. It's a phase. Instead of fearing and taking a step back or holding on for a long time in the same phase, it's not going to help us. We have to pass through that phase of black clouds. We don't know what is waiting for us on the other side. Probably the sun is shining bright and clouds are yellow. Anyway, nothing bad than a black cloud here. That's the worst that can happen. So why stress on the future and stop moving forward? With some turbulence and emotional outburst, we can overcome the black clouds. The air below the cloud is denser than the cloud, thus the cloud floats on top of the denser air nearer the land surface. Our mindset should become like the dense air below the clouds.

Maybe not easy. But not difficult too.


Raining is an emotion. Once it's rained, the clouds become very clear. We have to reach that clarity after the emotional anxiety. It doesn't rain every day. It depends on various factors.

Sometimes we say that too much laughter brings tears to the eyes. So every rain is not unhappiness, not every clear sky means happiness. It's what we make it.
